This is a very popular question, especially for those new to the world of spray tanning. Some of you may remember the good old Mystic tans, which provided one of the original spray tanning mechanisms. While those spray tanning booths are still available, they are notorious for uneven, streaky and orange-looking tans, that look unnatural and smell (ahem) awful. They are still around today, but we do not use these spray tan booths at Spray Tan Annapolis.

How does Airbrush Tanning Work?

Simply book an appointment at our Annapolis airbrush tanning salon (located conveniently off Maryland Ave). Once in your private spray tanning booth, a tanning professional will use a high-tech airbrush tanning system to give you a gorgeous glow. The whole process usually only takes about 15 minutes. We offer a variety of add-ons and different types of airbrush tans, depending on the look you want. Our shimmering finishing powder ensures you can get dressed and go about your day without missing a beat, or waiting to “dry off.” Each tan is different, and our artists will provide specific directions for making the most of your tan.
